Hello there. I am Katherine.
In therapy, we will work to identify unhelpful behavioral patterns and negative thoughts that keep us stuck. Most importantly, together we will replace behaviors, thoughts, and beliefs that don’t serve us in fulfilling our desires or support our overall wellness. I believe all of us have the resilience within us to move forward and overcome whatever life situations arise.
My goal is to support and work alongside you on your journey to wellness. Thus, I create a safe, open space to unravel what keeps us stuck or in distress while encouraging growth and strength. I utilize a wide range of evidence-based interventions from Psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work with teens and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, relationship difficulties, co-dependency, and other life difficulties.
I completed my master's degree at California State University of Long Beach (CSULB). I am currently an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist.
Hello I'm Alondra!
I strive to create a safe, comfortable, non-judgemental environment for clients to navigate through their adverse experiences where they can feel heard, understood and supported through their journey of growth and healing. I am a first generation immigrant to the United States, my experiences influenced me to become a therapist and to work to dispel the stigma and negative perceptions of mental health. I have a humanistic approach to therapy and believe that every individual is unique. My therapeutic background ranges from supporting individuals with chronic severe mental illness, anxiety based disorders, depression, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, self esteem, and everyday life stressors. I have worked with a diverse group of clients and utilize Solutions Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I work from a client and strengths based approach, meaning you are in control of your healing journey and I am here to guide and advocate along the way.
A little bit about me, I obtained my Master's in Social Work from University of Massachusetts Global. In my free time, I like to travel, read, hike, listen to music and spend time with friends and family.
I would be honored to get to know you and your story.
Hello there. I am Renata.
I believe therapy should be personalized to each client’s needs by providing the necessary coping strategies, empowerment, and support.
I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and older adults. My specialties include anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, phobias, panic disorder), depression, life transitions, grief/bereavement, guilt, relationship conflicts, parenting skills, and self-esteem issues.
While I utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as my primary therapeutic approach to develop skills and coping strategies while addressing the relationship between thoughts, moods, behaviors, and physical sensations, I also integrate Psychodynamic Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Existentialism. My approach helps clients adopt healthier ways of thinking to lead more meaningful, productive, and rewarding lives.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. I am fluent in both English and Portuguese, and my diverse clinical experience includes hospice, forensic, private practice, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
With a unique blend of skills, experience, and dedication, I am committed to providing high-quality, strong and compassionate care to my clients. Together, we can work towards achieving your goals and finding the path that brings you the most fulfillment and peace.

Hello, my name is Helena!
I work to create a reassuring and encouraging atmosphere, allowing for vulnerability and growth to occur even in uncomfortable situations. I believe in discovering who you are through this corrective process creates a kind of flexibility and liberation that can help you find the life you want. Through deep introspection and honest communication, I aim to facilitate a space for a rich therapeutic relationship to unfold.
I have experience addressing a wide range of needs, working with clients of diverse backgrounds within both community based and private practice settings. I have a special interest in working with children and adolescents, recognizing the significance of this pivotal stage in development. By focusing on this formative period, I offer care and guidance to young individuals and their families as they navigate the complexities of adolescence together.
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapy #120807. I received my BA in Psychology and MA in Counseling Psychology from Cal Poly Humboldt. I employ a psychodynamic, depth-oriented approach to help clients understand how past experiences and the unconscious mind shape current feelings and behaviors. I am committed to ongoing professional development in this area and is actively engaged in classes and consultation to enhance my skills. When I’m not working, I enjoy staying active with hobbies like boogie boarding, hiking, and exploring my culinary interests through cooking or trying new restaurants.
