My name is Judy Souvenir Morris, and I deeply value open communication, empathy, and collaboration with my clients. I take great joy in working with individuals from all walks of life, including couples, children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress management, ADHD, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, transitional life events, trauma and resilience, personal relationship issues, couple problems, personal growth, separation and divorce, parenting issues, self-esteem, anger management, and attachment and communication challenges.
I utilize evidence-based modalities and interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Therapies, and Hypnotherapy.
A bit about me:
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, CA, and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from UMass Global. In addition, I am a certified hypnotist through the International Hypnosis Federation (IHF).
In my downtime, I relish spending quality moments with my family and close friends, often enjoying meals out together. During my "me" time, you'll frequently find me immersed in music, practicing yoga, meditating, and occasionally indulging in retail
therapy. I also love relaxing with some popcorn while watching my favorite TV shows or movies.

A little bit about me: I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University Dominguez Hills. Currently, I have recently graduated with my Masters in Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) and Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC) from National University. My job brings me fulfillment as I work with current and former Foster Youth.

I’m an Associate Therapist at the Center for Resiliency, where I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy. I am passionate about mental health and wellness, and I look forward to collaborating with you on your journey toward balance, insight, and resilience.

Outside of my therapeutic work, I enjoy immersing myself in cultural activities, mindfulness practices, dance, pickleball, and reading—anything that nurtures the mind-body connection and inspires curiosity.

Ms. Merritt's specialties involve adolescents (ages 12–13 and up), college students, creatives, and families navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, blending evidence-based therapy with an intersectional life coaching lens to support emotional growth across different areas of life.
Originally from San Francisco, an HBCU graduate, and a graduate of the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.
Her background informs a culturally responsive and developmentally grounded approach to care.
Kiyana helps clients build work–life balance, clarify and quantify personal goals, and develop sustainable self-care practices that align with their values and responsibilities. For families, She focuses on improving communication, strengthening emotional connection, and supporting developmentally appropriate responses to mental health challenges. For creatives and college students, Kiyana addresses burnout, self-doubt, and overwhelm while helping clients align mental health with academic, professional, and creative goals.
Her goal is to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and equipped with tools they can apply beyond the therapy room.
