Hello and welcome!

My name is Lizette Padilla.

I provide therapy for individuals impacted by stress, anxiety, depression, fear of the future or the unknown, as well as those struggling with sadness, regret, guilt, and shame. I also support clients who are seeking to work on their personal growth, including building self-esteem, enhancing self-confidence, fostering identity appreciation, navigating life choices, and managing life transitions.

My approach to therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Collaborative Health and Human Services (B.S. in CHHS) from California State University, Monterey Bay, and my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice from Walden University. I am currently working toward full clinical licensure.

For relaxation, I enjoy watching drama television shows and spending quality time with my family, especially cheering on my nephews at their soccer games. I also have a passion for arts and crafts.

I see the importance of building coping skills when challenges arise, and this passion fuels my commitment to helping clients strengthen their resilience and achieve personal growth.

Welcome!

My name is DaRell Murray, and I am a Black male therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and adolescents, including LGBTQ+ clients ranging from ages 5 to 75. With empathy and understanding, I aim to support and celebrate the unique journeys and identities of every individual I work with. Find a Therapist in California KM

Kim Meyer, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Hi, I’m Kim. Welcome to The Center of Resiliency. I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and

empowered as we begin working together. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I look forward to helping you navigate challenges and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Clients & Areas of Focus

I work with adults, teens, and the elderly who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self- esteem concerns, and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or wanting to better understand patterns that are no longer serving them. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and strive to create an inclusive, affirming environment where you can feel safe bringing your full self into the room.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and psychodynamic theory to help clients understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop effective coping strategies, and reshape unhelpful patterns. Together, we work to identify triggers, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen insight so you can respond to challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I feel deeply honored to do this work and to walk beside clients as they rediscover their strength and capacity for healing. My approach is warm, person-centered, and humanistic, focused on creating a nurturing environment where clients feel seen, supported, and met exactly where they are. I believe deeply in the inherent wisdom each person carries, and I strive to offer a compassionate, culturally sensitive space where authentic connection and meaningful growth can naturally unfold.

About Me

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California and received my graduate training in marriage and family therapy from California Polytechnic State University. I value curiosity, authenticity, and compassion, both in my work and in my own life. Outside of therapy, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and continuing to learn about the mind-body connection and personal growth through artistic endeveors. These interests inform my belief that healing happens not just through insight, but through intentional, everyday choices.
