I believe everyone has the power within to heal. Healing is a dynamic and reachable experience that, with help, everyone can find. I specialize working with LGBTQIA+, teens, adults, and people with disabilities.
I take a person-centered, strength-based approach to therapy. In addition, I have a strong background in behavior modification. I also have a passion for helping people work through anxiety, social phobias, stress, and fears by using a mindfulness cognitive behavior approach.
About me: I have a BA of Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. I have two teaching credentials, multiple subject and moderate to severe education specialist. I have a Master of Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. I have a Doctor of Social Work from University of Southern California. I am a Board Certified Behavior Specialist. I also have a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
I have two adult children and two adorable Boston Terriers. I enjoy traveling and reading. I am an avid Disney fan and have a bucket list of visiting all the parks in the world.
It would be an honor to work with you on your path to healing.
Hello and welcome!
My name is Lizette Padilla.
I provide therapy for individuals impacted by stress, anxiety, depression, fear of the future or the unknown, as well as those struggling with sadness, regret, guilt, and shame. I also support clients who are seeking to work on their personal growth, including building self-esteem, enhancing self-confidence, fostering identity appreciation, navigating life choices, and managing life transitions.
My approach to therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Empowerment Approaches, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Collaborative Health and Human Services (B.S. in CHHS) from California State University, Monterey Bay, and my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice from Walden University. I am currently working toward full clinical licensure.
For relaxation, I enjoy watching drama television shows and spending quality time with my family, especially cheering on my nephews at their soccer games. I also have a passion for arts and crafts.
I see the importance of building coping skills when challenges arise, and this passion fuels my commitment to helping clients strengthen their resilience and achieve personal growth.
Welcome!
My name is DaRell Murray, and I am a Black male therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and adolescents, including LGBTQ+ clients ranging from ages 5 to 75. With empathy and understanding, I aim to support and celebrate the unique journeys and identities of every individual I work with. I am passionate about creating a culturally competent and inclusive environment with a mission to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health services within the BIPOC community.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can freely share your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can work toward personal growth and healing.
I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges such as relationships and couples’ issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Conduct Disorder, trauma, PTSD, and grief. My therapeutic approach includes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
A bit about me: I’m a husband and father with six years of experience providing community mental health services in California’s Central Valley. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling—both earned at Fresno State.
I’m here to support you on your journey toward well-being!
