Hello, I’m Emily and welcome!
I look forward to making a meaningful impact on those paving their own journey toward healing and personal growth. My calling has always been to make each person feel seen, heard, respected, and ultimately empowered to navigate life’s challenges. My hope is to create a lasting impact that ignites a vital psychological process of adaption and resilience.
I am committed to working with all types of individuals. In addition, I have special skills in working with teens, adults, children, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, substance use, and family system dynamics. While my experiences have shaped my current areas of focus, I believe that personal and professional growth is continuous. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel supported in their evolving journey, ensuring therapy remains collaborative, meaningful, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
My approach is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and deep attunement to my clients' experiences. I am naturally sensitive to both verbal and nonverbal communication, allowing me to explore emotions and struggles that may have otherwise been overlooked. I strive to reach the core of a client’s struggles and explore the thoughts and feelings that may have gone unacknowledged. Clients are the heart of every session, and I aim to create an open space where they feel safe to express, process, and reflect—knowing they are heard, never judged and always met with warmth and understanding.
I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University. My background includes working in child welfare and substance abuse recovery, where I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of guidance and support. Outside of therapy, I enjoy engaging in healthy outlets, exploring new places, and continuously learning—both in my practice and personal life.
Hello and Welcome!
I’m Olivia Trujillo. Welcome to the Resiliency Center!
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern studying at Loma Linda University. I’m dedicated in my experience to lead with compassion, empathy, trust, and connection to create a safe environment where change and resiliency are welcomed and strengthened. I hope to be working with adolescents and individuals who need support in navigating different transitions in their lives. I prioritize learning about the different dimensions of identity a client brings into the therapeutic environment to gain access to the perceptions and reality each person holds.
Modalities and theories I utilized include Structural Family Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, and Strategic Therapy techniques to implement change in the individual's life. These theories allow me to see where the individual comes from and where we can implement attainable change.
While not at work I enjoy crochetining, baking, CrossFit, and beach days. It is important to me to incorporate movement to my daily life while having fun with friends and family!

Hi! My name is Jackie!
I firmly believe that therapy serves as a crucial resource in your journey toward achieving the happiest and healthiest version of yourself. My passion lies in behavioral health and facilitating personal growth in others. I am dedicated to creating a secure and non-judgmental environment where you can reflect on your past, enabling you to make informed decisions and take meaningful actions in the present.
With extensive experience in addressing issues such as substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, family dysfunction, self-esteem challenges, and emotional regulation, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing a wide range of behavioral health issues, from adolescence through to later life stages. I also have experience assisting couples as they navigate the complexities of their relationship and work to strengthen the foundation of their partnership.
My preferred approach is Narrative Therapy. This is a form of therapy that allows for the client to share their life story. We will work together to deconstruct your experiences, externalize the problem at hand, work to problem solve together and make a plan for future growth. With this approach, I believe you are the main character of your story and remind you of the power you hold to be the hero of your story.
I have spent three years working in the IOP setting as well as have spent nearly two years working with the elderly in the retirement and memory care settings. I have acted as a group and individual client therapist in these roles. Hello and Welcome to the Center of Resiliency!
I am Lee Chimuanya Okelue. Welcome to the Center of Resiliency and I am humbled and very excited to be working with you. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to meet with you.
My area of specialty is in multicultural psychotherapy, which is an extension of general psychology that acknowledges that a person's worldview is influenced by many aspects of their identity, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and more. My interest in these cuts across a wide range of populations including adult individuals, young children, and groups. I meet with minorities and people of color, clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, and life transitions.
My approach to therapy is eclectic. Eclectic psychology is a type of psychotherapy that uses a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques to meet the needs of each client. Eclectic therapy draws from many disciplines and uses a range of proven methods to determine the best combination of therapeutic tools for each patient. In this, I would create a safe, warm non-judgmental, respectful, and supportive space for you to be able to freely express yourself and learn your triggers and symptoms.
I would utilize person-centered (PCT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and existential therapy (ET) interventions. Every client is different, so every intervention used and applied would be tailored to each client's specific needs for optimum outcomes.
I would describe my education as more international. My early years of education started in my home country where I was taught the culture and values, I attended a private primary school and for junior high through to high school, I acquired my (GED) and high school diploma from a boarding school in my home country. I also acquired my bachelor's degree in humanities and then traveled to the United Kingdom (UK) to acquire my Early childhood learning and development certifications. I lived in Aberdeen Scotland and worked in an international school providing education, care, and services to children and their families in an early years education setting. Then I moved to Paris and got certification in therapeutic play techniques for working with children. Hence, I am very open to working with young children. So, I've been exposed to a variety of cultures and people.
I am presently working towards my MFT/LPCC degrees with the National University and as an intern with the Center of Resiliency.
I enjoy photography, traveling, and experiencing new cultures as a hobby.
Again, I look forward to meeting You.
Lee.
