I take a person-centered, strength-based approach to therapy. In addition, I have a strong background in behavior modification. I also have a passion for helping people work through anxiety, social phobias, stress, and fears by using a mindfulness cognitive behavior approach.
About me: I have a BA of Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. I have two teaching credentials, multiple subject and moderate to severe education specialist. I have a Master of Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. I have a Doctor of Social Work from University of Southern California. I am a Board Certified Behavior Specialist. I also have a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
I have two adult children and two adorable Boston Terriers. I enjoy traveling and reading. I am an avid Disney fan and have a bucket list of visiting all the parks in the world.

My name is Lizette Padilla.
I provide therapy for individuals impacted by stress, anxiety, depression, fear of the future or the unknown, as well as those struggling with sadness, regret, guilt, and shame. I also support clients who are seeking to work on their personal growth, including building self-esteem, enhancing self-confidence, fostering identity appreciation, navigating life choices, and managing life transitions.
My approach to therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Empowerment Approaches, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Collaborative Health and Human Services (B.S. in CHHS) from California State University, Monterey Bay, and my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice from Walden University. I am currently working toward full clinical licensure.
For relaxation, I enjoy watching drama television shows and spending quality time with my family, especially cheering on my nephews at their soccer games. I also have a passion for arts and crafts.

dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and adolescents, including
LGBTQ+ clients ranging from ages 5 to 75. With empathy and understanding, I aim to

am passionate about creating a culturally competent and inclusive environment with a
