I believe everyone has the power within to heal. Healing is a dynamic and reachable experience that, with help, everyone can find. I specialize working with LGBTQIA+, teens, adults, and people with disabilities.

I take a person-centered, strength-based approach to therapy. In addition, I have a strong background in behavior modification. I also have a passion for helping people work through anxiety, social phobias, stress, and fears by using a mindfulness cognitive behavior approach.

About me: I have a BA of Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. I have two teaching credentials, multiple subject and moderate to severe education specialist. I have a Master of Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. I have a Doctor of Social Work from University of Southern California. I am a Board Certified Behavior Specialist. I also have a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.

I have two adult children and two adorable Boston Terriers. I enjoy traveling and reading. I am an avid Disney fan and have a bucket list of visiting all the parks in the world.

Hi, I’m Nicole and welcome!

I am a person that values family, people and education. I enjoy learning new things and consider myself a lifelong learner. I like reading, listening to music, cooking and love being at the beach.

I am the first person in my family to graduate from college receiving my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and going on to get a Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology.

I have over 11 years experience working in the field of Mental Health. My therapeutic style is anchored in a person centered approach with an emphasis on displaying compassion, mindfulness and patience.

I like to incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused modalites. I have worked with families, teens, young adults and adults.

I am dedicated to providing the best care possible and highly regard the therapeutic process.
