Hello! My name is Noemi.
I believe that each person is uniquely beautiful, shaped by their own lived experiences. These experiences, though sometimes challenging, mold us into who we are today. As an empathic listener, my passion lies in walking alongside you on your healing journey.
My approach to therapy is holistic, integrating evidence-based practices to support your overall well-being. I focus on healing the nervous system through mindfulness, stress reduction techniques, somatic healing practices, and therapeutic modalities such as Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. My goal is to tailor treatment to meet your unique needs and lifestyle.
As a first-generation Latina, born to immigrant parents from Latin America, I understand the complexities of navigating life across cultures. I am committed to helping those who want to break unhealthy generational cycles and heal from trauma. Healing generational wounds can be difficult, and it’s a journey that’s best undertaken with support. I am here to guide you through it, offering compassion and understanding along the way. I welcome individuals from all diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego Christian College and a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders & Deaf Education from Utah State University. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at National University. In addition, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families and individuals in various capacities. I have experience as a Care Coordinator for families with children ages 0-5 and prenatal parents, as well as a Service Coordinator for adults and children with disabilities. I also have hands-on experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
I am so glad you are here, and I commend you for taking this brave first step toward healing. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you. I’m Sivani Pelluru.
I am a MFT intern currently working towards finishing my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology to help a diverse community with children, teenagers, individual adults, couples and families. My prior experience in the therapeutic field has been working for 2 and a half years as a Certified Behavior Technician with children and adults, from ages 2-22 years old who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, who often were simultaneously diagnosed with ADHD.
Similar to the skills we use as an MFT, I have a strong experience with working with children’s maladaptive behaviors, as well as collaborating to effectively adjust and tailor a functional behavior intervention plan to suit each children’s individual needs. Alongside families while using shared control with children to ensure client’s feeling safe and comfortable at all times through every step of the therapeutic journey. Including, collaborating to improve coping strategies and replacement behaviors and/or thought patterns to increase independent daily functioning. While my experience highlights working with children and families more deeply, I welcome all opportunities to work with a widely diverse community, to help as many people as I possibly can, by bringing in my experience and merging it with new skills that can be the most beneficial to you.
I will be drawing upon varying approaches of therapy such as cognitive-behavioral, narrative, solution-focused, person-centered, etc. In order to best support you, I will adjust the approach to your needs through every step and every session as necessary while collaborating to work to reassess what changes need to be implemented to ensure safe progress.
My intention is to treat you and your experiences as your own and welcome them as they are to collaboratively find safe ways to work through them to increase your quality of life.
